The original submission was rejected because two required characteristics are notavailable. Content of bill is missing. Status of the bill is also missing.
There is no way to search for a given bill. The only way to get an indication of bills being discussed is by looking at the archives of Legislative sessions since 2009 (which are listed chronologically) (
https://www.asamblea.gob.sv/sesion-plenaria/votaciones-electronicas). For each legislative session they provide a summary of the items discussed in the legislature on the day. The names of bills are mentioned, but not their content or the ensuing debate. Votes on bills per member of parliament and the author of a bill can be found on two separate documents “Electronic Voting” and “Correspondence”, respectively. It is worth mentioning that these documents provide an aggregate summary of all the items voted on/or introduced in the legislature on that day. They can only be found under the record of legislature proceedings for a given day.
The original submission had indicated that Votes on Bills and Status of Bills was available. However, even though some information is available as to the votes on bills and the authors, the information is not very useful as they are presented without context (other than the fact that the bill was introduced/voted on on a specific date). This information would be extremely difficult to find without knowing the date a particular bill was discussed or voted on in front of the legislature. Status of bills on the other hand could not be found at all.
The original submission also indicated the following:
- Downloadable at once: No
-Up to date: No
-Open license: No

The original submission was rejected because two required characteristics were absent from the dataset. The current submission now indicates that "Data is not available."
