This is because companies have a deadline to report until March of the following year. The data for 2016 comes after March 2017 and the available data are updated. The Superintendency of Companies makes available to the public the database with the financial statements of the 26,611 companies in the real sector that reported their balance sheets, income statements and cash flow for 2015 (thousands of pesos). Balance sheets and statements of income are available for free online on the Open data Portal under the creative commons public license. Accessing cash flows requires a user name and password but balance sheets and statements of income do not.
