findable_steps | For historic results I went to the SERVEL site, then to the statistics section and then to the "Resultados en Excel" option. But, for recent results (2016 municipal elections) I went to the "Municipales 2016" site at SERVEL website, and then tu "Resultados" which led me to another site: www.servelelecciones.cl | |

Datasets are divided in two websites run by Servicio Electoral, the autonomous State institution that is responsible for the electoral administration in Chile. The first website is main organisational website, and it hosts the municipal, legislative and presidential elections data between 1989-2013. The data contained in this datasets includes all the required information, inclusive data available at polling state level, even though some of the data categories change through datasets, in XLSX format. The second website shows municipal data from the latest municipal elections (2016) As for licenses, there is no mention in both of the websites, although by looking at the Government open data portal there are two mentions at licenses for some parts of the datasets. Even though there is no mention in these websites, access to Info law regards a public domain status to this data. Especifically Article 5 and 6 of the FOI law, which states: “Under the principle of transparency of public service, acts and Resolutions of the organs of the Administration of the State, its foundations, the documents that serve them Of direct or essential support and complement, and Procedures used for their Except for the exceptions established by this law and Those provided for in other qualified quorum laws”.
