location https://data.gov.au/dataset/geocoded-national-address-fi - GNAF G-NAF (Geocoded National Address File) is a trusted index of Australian address information. It contains the state, suburb, street, number and coordinate reference (or “geocode”) for street addresses in Australia
GNAF is the national geocoded address file, and as such, it fulfills the requirements as it gives coordinates for all addresses including their postcodes, which is more accurate than postcode centroids or polygons. There are non-free versions of postcode boundaries (https://www.psma.com.au/products/postcode-boundaries) and centroids (https://postcode.auspost.com.au/product_display.html?id=4). The ABS also freely publishes approximations of postcode boundaries to coincide with the 5-yearly Census release https://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Lookup/by%20Subject/1270.0.55.003~July%202016~Main%20Features~Postal%20Areas%20(POA)~8
