The submission stated that there is not government agency in Afghanistan, collecting or producing weather data. This was corrected. The Afghanistan Meteorological Authority (AMA), attached to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, runs several weather stations across the country and provides public weather services (as well as other services such as warnings, climate research, or aviation services).
