What data is expected?

This data category requires results by constituency / district for all major national electoral contests. Election data informs about voting outcomes and voting process. What are electoral majorities and minorities? How many votes are registered, invalid, or spoilt? To enable highest transparency, the Index assesses polling station data. Data for electoral zones does not suffice. The Index consulted the National Democratic Institute (NDI) to develop this data category. For more information, see the NDI’s Open Elections Data Initiative. We recommend that you consult our methodology section for more information.

Rejected submission since not all required data is available. Data available (http://www.dvk-rs.si/) include results for major electoral contests, registered votes and invalid votes, but no information on spoiled ballots. Data is up to date. As for 2012 presidential elections results, it is available through PDF format, although it is possible to access the data by district in HTML format (http://www.dvk-rs.si/arhivi/vp2012/udelezba2/udelezba_okraji.html). As for 2014 parliamentary Election results, they are available in XLS and HTML format. Regarding the license, the disclaimer on http://www.dvk-rs.si/index.php/si/pravno-obvestilo asserts that under Slovenian Law these results are not subject to Copyright and so can be reused freely.
