This data category requires all national laws and statutes to be available online, although it is not a requirement that information on legislative behaviour e.g. voting records is available.
The submitter assessed the usability of the data as follows (3 - little to no effort needed, 1 - extensive effort needed): 2
|Downloadable at once||No|
|Available free of charge||Yes|
|In an open and machine-readable format||HTML||Changed original submission to indicate that data is available in HTML.|
|findable_steps||browse on parliament chambers sites|
|Collected by government||Yes|
|collector_name||Senate and Chamber of Deputies|
|characteristics||Content of the law / status, Date of last amendment, Amendments to the law (if applicable)||All required characteristics are clearly present|
|location||http://www.cdep.ro/ - Chamber of Deputies website||Original submission also listed: http://www.senat.ro/ as a source. This is the Senate website and it looks like it contains draft legislation by the senate, not laws. As a reviewer I removed it as a source.|
I removed the Senate website as a source. The review was based on the "Legislative Repertoire" link from the Chamber of Deputies website. The only other change I made was to indicate that HTML was an available format. The data is actually only available in HTML.
The submission should be accepted because all the required characteristics are clearly present in the data set.
