Openly licenced No
In an open and machine-readable format [Original Submitter Comment]Most statues, resolutions and regulations are available either from government websites such as Infojurídica or third parties. The problem lies in the quality of the documents, which for some reason are sometimes printed, then scanned into PDFs and uploaded, rendering them unsearchable (document quality is also sometimes an issue). [Reviewer comment] Laws are only available in PDF. Did not find that the quality of the PDF documents was problematic.
Downloadable at once No As a reviewer I am changing this to NO because there is no option to download data in bulk. Moreover, each amendment to the laws has to be downloaded separately from the original text of the law.

characteristics Content of the law / status, Date of last amendment, Amendments to the law (if applicable) When accessing each individual law, there is a tab that lists the amendments to the laws and a link to the full text of the amendment. Date of last amendment can be derived only by checking the most recent entry on the amendment list.
location - Info Jurídica (PGN law repository), - Legispan (National Assembly) [Original Submitter comment] InfoJuridica Database contains systematized legal information of standards, with a detailed expression of their affectations, validity and unconstitutionalities with access to the full text of the norm, from 1903 to date. Digital Collection of Official Gazettes from 1903 to date. [Reviewer comment] Both websites listed in the original submission contain the data set that we are looking for. For the sake of consistency I am using the URL for Info Juridicia for the review. I found that this source provided a better account of amendments to laws.
Both websites listed in B2 lead to very similar data. All questions can be answered the same when considering both websites (although my review was based on the Info Juridicia website). I changed B5 to a NO because I could not see any possibility of downloading data in bulk. The website provides only the full text of the original version of a law. If one wants to download updates, one must download each amendment separately.

This submission is accepted because I was able to verify that the data contained all required characteristics.
