Procurement 8% open (avg.)

All tenders and awards of the national/federal government aggregated by office. It does not look into procurement planning or other procurement phases. Open procurement data may enable fairer competition among companies, allow to detect fraud, as well as deliver better services for governments and citizens. Monitoring tenders helps new groups to participate in tenders and to increase government compliance. The Index draws on work from the Open Contracting Partnership. See our methodology for more information.

The dataset's quality is low. Important information, such as business entity identifiers, is missing, while other data is duplicated, such as postal addresses, which makes the data difficult to reconcile and fuse.

Procurements that get an exemption from using a tender (e.g. single supplier contracts etc.machine readable) are published in a dedicated government websmachine-readable form). This kind of procurements make 80% of the total number of procurements.

The are three different websites for tenders, and none for awards. This is very confusing for users: https://www.mr.gov.il/Pages/HomePage.aspx https://jobiz.gov.il/tenders http://michrazim.lapam.gov.il/LAPAM/Tenders/

The data is available since 2009. It is updated daily and is quite detailed. In the past it was not available in structured machine-readable format but since 2016 daily dumps in XML format are being published and documented on data.gov.sk .

Regarding licensing: Licensing is assumed to be CC-BY (based on https://data.gov.sk/organization/656F92FC-F8ED-4DA5-A9F5-1499E03AD575?license_id=cc-by) but some datasets from same set lack licensing information (error in publishing automation is assumed).
